Bill and his team were the ultimate professionals. We hired them to paint the house, replace the siding on the shed and do some work in a bathroom. They handled all of our needs with perfect professionalism. The external painting of the house and shed were top notch. Bill and I did a final walk around the house after the painting was finished. Bill noticed things I did not see and came back to touch all of the spots he made note of. He even took it upon himself to go back around the house and touch up even more spots that he had not noticed on the first pass. We had Bill and his team replace some damaged drywall in the bathroom and replaced the vanity. This included some tile work that looks like it has been there the whole time. Bill and his team did not rush to get the job done, like some other contractors we hired in the past. They took their time to make sure it was completed to the highest standards. Bill and his employees were great from start to finish. The exterior paint on our house needed some major help. They washed our house and cleared away a trench between the house and the ground to be sure to get all surface area, repaired cracks in stucco, and sealed the whole house before using high quality Sherwin Williams paint. He helped us choose paint colors wisely, and I am thankful for his suggestion of using a pure white trim rather than an off-white cream color. Always refreshing to find a professional company that does what they said they would do at a high level. The quote was written and covered everything we discussed (clear pricing & line item descriptions). The quality of the paint materials used is industry accepted as higher grade. The workers were very polite and respectful. They were diligent and thorough throughout the job process (pressure cleaning, scraping, sealing, priming, caulking, window barrier priming to sills, patching hairline cracks/holes, and painting). The owner, Bill, was on-site often working with his crew and always inspecting the job as it progressed. He is knowledgeable and dedicated to making sure not only is he satisfied with their work, but that I was too. I am so happy his contact name was given to me by another customer of his. Can highly recommend. Note, my house needed painting on three sides 2-stories, two front porches (1 with handrails), and the inside/outside of car bays. It had not been painted or cleaned in 18 years. It was really dirty and in need of TLC.

We chose Bill’s painting to paint the interior of our house. A 2 week job turned into over 3 weeks. Bill’s painters seem to do a good job at the time but months later, we are finding shortcuts & signs they were being rushed bc our job was taking longer than estimated. Paint runs that can’t be seen from the floor unless you know where to look. Areas where the paint wasn’t applied heavy enough & areas where electrical covers were not removed bc it may have required a little extra effort. Paint splatter on the granite & carpet. Bill gave us an estimate & then claimed he had forgotten to include part of the house in his original estimate when it came time to sign the contract. Either accept his increase in price or he doesn’t paint everything previously discussed. The job flows a lot better until he shows up which is very little. We have been very disappointed as we discovered more shortcuts. I would proceed with caution before using Bill’s as there’s other options that will save you thousands and you don’t have to go behind them when the job is done. Let me respond directly to the owner’s comments below, which are not only false but clearly an attempt to deflect from the real issue—the quality of the work resulting from being rushed by you. Yes, I used a light to inspect the paint job. That’s called due diligence—especially when paying $20,000. When painting with very light colors, proper lighting is essential to catch flaws that should never exist in the first place. If you expect clients to blindly accept your work without inspecting it, you're in the wrong business. Now let’s talk about the lies in your response: Lie #1: I did not fire three window installers. Pella managed the installation. I hired Pella, and they handled all staffing. Any changes or issues with installers had nothing to do with me. You either made this up or were completely misinformed. Lie #2: I also did not hire or fire any stucco companies. They were hired and overseen by Pella as part of their contract—not me. These comments are a blatant mischaracterization intended to damage my credibility. I did hire a stucco expert to identify problems with the stucco work performed. That's called due diligence. Here’s the real question: what does any of that have to do with your paint job? Absolutely nothing. You're grasping at straws to distract from the fact that your work has revealed shortcuts and flaws. The flaws I pointed out were legitimate, and rather than accept a honest review, you chose to insult the customer. That says everything about your business practices. I ended up correcting the issues myself—because my wife made it clear you would never set foot in our home again after your attitude and lack of professionalism. For further proof, I’ve attached a photo showing exactly what I described in my review. It didn’t take a light to see that and you wonder why I followed you around which is also a falacy becouase you were seldom here. The paint splatter on the granite was cleaned up as it was found. I will find the other photos and post them since you want to attack my integrity with your rebuttle. In short: your response confirms why I left the review in the first place. It was not until I continued to find issues that I posted my review. A review I am entitled to post as it is my true experience. You deflect, you deny, and you insult—instead of accepting the facts. I will continue to share my experience so others know exactly what to expect. You attack me for pointing out your shortfalls and then expect me to ask you to come back and correct the things that should have never occurred by a professional painting business. I would pay someone else to come correct your work before I would allow you the opportunity to set foot back in our house. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.........need I say more as the pictures say enough!

I recently relocated to Lakeland, FL. Before moving here I travelled to look at a few houses and decided on one. It needed the interior totally repainted from ceiling to floor and more. Before returning home I asked a friend for her recommendation of a painter and she said Bill's Painting. Although it was not the optimum way to hire a painter, due to distance, we communicated via text and phone to establish what I needed and how quickly it was needed. It needed to be done within two weeks. Bill did not hesitate at all and the rest is history as they say. Two and half weeks later when I arrived with the moving van I was pleasantly surprised to see the interior painted in a beautiful color. The expertise was obvious after remembering all the holes that were in the walls, the horrible looking baseboards and holes in bedroom doors. Everything was impeccably done. No more holes in the walls or doors, no uneven surface on the bedroom door, baseboards and ceiling all perfectly done. It also helps that it's easy to communicate with Bill because he truly listens and then offers his suggestions. This came through when I mentioned I wanted a few things done in the house. He said he also does some home repairs between his painting obligations. One thing I really wanted done, but Bill explained that due to the age of the house what I wanted would not work well and probably after a bit of time the wall would no longer be able to hold it. But he still gave me the option to go ahead if I wanted to. Not everyone would be that honest and would go ahead, maybe not event mention the potential problem. All I can say is that Bill is a person of integrity and honesty. Also he is an expert painter who takes pride in his work, whether it's painting or doing home repairs. That is only enhanced by the fact that Bill is friendly, knowledgeable, goes above and beyond and extremely affordable. I highly recommend Bill for all your painting and home needs.

With a background myself in mold and moisture remediation, it’s not just the substrate that absorbs the moisture, It’s the products that allows moisture to pass through them. Would not recommend this company at all. We have had so many issues after they painted our home! Overall just a bad experiance from start to finnish Im usually not the type to give negative reviews but this is one of the worst.experiance ive had.. Proceeds to tell me i have a moisture issue thats why my downspouts are charging color " aluminum and plastic do not absorb moisture or water". Will be posting pictures below of the paint job.

I got my house painted today. It looks amazing! Bill did a really great job! I liked how he spend time making sure I was happy with the colors I picked. He did samples on the house 2 or 3 times. He was really great at recommending colors. He picked three colors that look great together. I also liked how quick he was to get me in his schedule. This project took two days. He pressure washed. Bill and his team did an amazing job painting the outside of our home. It had not been painted since it was built 16 years ago and when we bought it 6 months ago, we had some serious outside issues. He made sure our stucco was secure and everything was sealed properly, fixed numerous cracks and one that kinda looked like a mini Grand Canyon. He was extremely patient helping me to find the happy Florida color I wanted but making sure it was toned down enough to belong gracefully inside of our tame subdivision. It’s just lovely and I couldn’t be happier. There were cheaper quotes for sure but our neighbors had used Bill and their house looks fantastic as well and they had been happy with the service. Had the outside of my house and doors repainted after many years. Before the job I had many cracks and paint coming off. They power washed my exterior and filled every crack from top to bottom. 5/15/2023 I highly recommend Bill’s Painting services. They were very professional, personable, reasonably priced and did a fantastic job. I was unsure about the paint colors as I wanted them to go with the roof, brick pavers and stone in front. Bill gave great suggestions and options and really took the time to help me see what would look good and more importantly what would NOT look good! Left on my own to figure this out I would definitely have picked the wrong colors and not been happy with the end result. I am on the architectural board for my community so have to approve all the painting requests for my neighborhood. I can honestly say that Bill’s quote for the work they did is the best I have seen. We had some tricky issues with rust coming through on the corner bead around 2 front windows, that I was worried most painters wouldn’t know how to properly fix. Bill knew exactly what to do and had worked with this problem in the past, so that was a huge plus. I reached out to a lot of painting companies for quotes. What separated Bill from all the others was his thorough explanation of the process, the detailed proposal I received, his communication was outstanding, his follow up, and how honest and upfront he is. He truly went above and beyond to make sure I picked colors to compliment my home... evening telling me up front the main color I wanted to go with wasn’t a good choice (I was somewhat upset at first but quickly realized he’s the expert). I called a few companies for a quote to paint my elderly mother's house. Bill's quote was the best by far and I am so glad I went with him. Not only did he power wash the house and put on a sealant coat as well as use a premium paint, he also repaired a few posts on the porch, replaced the trim on a back door, patched holes and cracks as well as fixing missing tiles on the soffit. I would have been lost on who to go to for these repairs since I have only just moved here. I was also overwhelmed by color choices and he helped me choose a beautiful color scheme which turned out lovely. I also retained him to power wash the driveway and he went above and beyond and power washed the path around the side of the house as well as cleaning the mailbox. Bill's Painting painted the exterior of my 3600 sq ft home in July 2016. His bid came back higher than the other three bids I received, but that did not stop us from using him. We felt he was the most knowledgeable and thorough painter we spoke with. Sure enough, he and his painters were thorough, knowledgable, and personable. They came out day after day until the job was done, but they were in no rush...which I liked because I could see the attention they had to detail. They only use high-quality caulk, sealer, and paint. After pressure washing, they sealed the whole house, caulked all cracks and crevices, then put two coats of paint on. We were constantly in contact with Bill as questions came up throughout the process, and he always responded in a timely manner. Expensive, but money well-spent.

Before I contacted Bill I went thru a few other quotes. No one shared the details that Bill shared. He called out things we did not consider or think of. I am detailed oriented and quite picky when it comes to things and Bill did not disappointment. He provided all the materials and paint which is one less thing I had to do as some providers wanted us to buy it. Once the work started, he stayed in constant communication. His son Cameron works with him, and my wife described her initial meeting with him as very professional. The exterior painting of my home was a project, long-overdue. A neighbor had painted it years ago, without applying a sealer, or quality paint. Bill was the first painter to provide an estimate for the job, and he possessed all the qualities that I value, when hiring a contractor. He really took the time to clearly explain everything, and answer questions throughout the entire process, including color advice. When I first contacted Bill he was prompt in setting up a time to come meet with me and give me detailed information about the process of the work he was going to perform along with extensive information about the paint he would use which was top of the line (Sherwin Williams Resilience.) Any questions I had along the way he was always available to answer. His two workers (Julio and his son) were great as well. They were the ones who actually did most of the work, I appreciated their work ethic. I would hire Bill again in a heartbeat. One of my worse fears was that I would hire someone who wouldn't do a good job and Bill put all those fears to rest. I absolutely love the way my home looks. Great. Bill spent time helping us pick out appropriate colors and brought samples to paint on the walls. This was very helpful with determining colors. In addition, Bill patched many small holes, removed speakers & sound system, intercom, old outlets,and old security system. He then patched and prepared those areas for painting. He removed a floor to ceiling mirror from the bathroom and patched, textured the wall to match existing, and then primed and painted the area. He also painted the extremely tall skylight walls. He took the time to listen to what we wanted and followed through with those requests. He focused on details and ensured the project was completed to our satisfaction. It went GREAT!!! I had Bill and his crew remove all of the wallpaper in my house and ended up hiring him to paint the interior also. Once he removed the wallpaper that had been there for years it needed some patching and repair, but I expected it. This will be the first review I have ever submitted for anyone or anything. However this company has far earn this review. We recently purchase a new home for us that was a ugly shade of green. I contacted Bill and he came over to the house to look over what I wanted done. We were also dealing with a HOA so that needed to be taken into consideration. Bill was extremely professional and very easy to work with. He offered to formulate the color combination for the trim and body of the house based on our discussion. I will tell you his ability to find the perfect colors based on our thoughts was spot on. He saved us a lot of time and frustration on trying to find and decide on the colors ourselves. Contacted Bill by email and he responded by telephone within a day or so. When a day was set for the pressure washing, they came as planned and were done within a few hours. Discussed with Bill what needed to be done and settled on the paint color. He told us when he would be back due to the forecast of rain the following day. We are not the original owners of the manufactured home. I got 7 estimates on painting and the variety of techniques and services, as well as prices, varied widely. We had a number of cracks and holes in the aluminum siding due to the prior owner mounting hose holders, tool holders and some decorative items by drilling holes in the aluminum siding. There were some bids lower than Bill and some higher, but I chose Bill because he was licensed and insured, and he seemed more willing to do extra filling, caulking, sealing and priming, and he did some color changes to certain parts which I requested. He also had a great rating on Angie's List. It took about 5 days total, it would have been quicker, but time was lost due to Florida's July thunderstorms. They came out one day and just did pressure cleaning and prep, so it would be nice and dry when they started painting. When they came out to paint, they were very neat and put down tarps and were the neatest exterior painters I have seen.We have a new custom painted driveway so I was very concerned that it would not be damaged. No worries, they did not spill a drop even on the brick skirting around the base of our home. They were very thorough from all of the sealing and priming to the finish coats on the gutters and downspouts. They were absolutely on time as agreed every day, They used a superior quality of mildew resistant paint which I requested, and the workmanship was sterling, with great attention to every detail. Bill also gave me cans of touch-up paint, in case I scratch it up around the carport or need it later. Bills bid included all of the materials, all paint, chemicals, sealer, calking, stain, primer, brushes, rags and everything they used. I was really impressed with Bill's assistant, Tim, who really was a super neat painter, and cleaned up every area he worked in superbly. When they left, there were no paint chips, spills, spots, no evidence that painters had been there. But the house looked brand new!

He spent time walking around the house explaining how they would clean, seal, repair stucco cracks and then paint ( roller and brush) the house. Bill met with me and thoroughly examined the condition of the wood and stucco and made suggestions on what they would use and how they would make the repairs. Most of the repairs were minor but he did find that the top of my chimney top was cracking and it needed to be sealed. I would have never noticed it. We had a major job for these guys with the entire interior of our house needing to be painted! Dings and holes were filled. Ceilings were painted. Wallpaper had to be removed and those walls had to be prepared for subsequent texturing and then painting. Trim and doors were also done. Tim is an excellent, careful and precise painter. Julio cheerfully does what is asked of him in painting, covering stuff tightly in plastic to protect it against the texturing process. Bill's son, Cameron, comes alongside and fills in the gaps with different tasks (he's on his way to being as good as his Dad!). The kitchen gave us the most issues because the wall paper did NOT want to come off. Bill suggested a process to combat that problem and the walls look perfect! You'd never know that there had been an issue with that stubborn paper. Some might call Bill picky, but when you have a painter doing your home, you WANT him to notice everything and make sure it's all perfect before they leave from the job. These guys spent 8 days in our home with this project. They were polite, so easy to have around. We loved having them here and would have them back in a heartbeat!

The result was a complete mess! Bill came in and completely retextured the ceiling in the room and matched the rest of the house perfectly. Bill was an exceptional provider. We met to go over the details of what I needed to have done; he looked over my house, pointed out a few things that needed addressing, and then we talked specifics about what he would do. The job would include crack repair, a sealer coat, and new paint & trim for the entire house. We agreed on a price and an estimated start date. The project started on time, and his workers were prompt and courteous. They all kept me informed of what was going on, what stage they were in the process, and when they expected to be finished. They were not in a hurry to get the job over with, but instead took their time and were very careful and meticulous. After the work was done, everything that the painters had moved out of the way (such as deck furniture) was put back in place before they left. Bill stopped by several times to check on the progress; he called me several times to update me on the progress, and once everything was done he came out to give it one final check and to talk with me about anything that I might have questions about. He reminded me that I should call him with any questions or concerns after it was all complete. It was a great experience, and I have a great looking house!

This is the only painter you should use! All the work was started and finished within his stated timeline which was wonderful and the paint job he did was absolutely outstanding, we could not have been happier with how great it looked. The repair work in the garage was absolutely outstanding - he matched the existing very old popcorn exactly and you could not tell there had ever been any damage. The shower floor looked 100% better. Thank you Bill for an outstanding job!

I found Bill through BBB and Facebook and then joined Angie's List so I could read his reviews and I am very glad I did. Met initially with Bill at the property explaining our expectations. My last house I renovated was a 1926 National Historic Trust house so I had high expectations and I expressed those to Bill. He was very professional and based on visiting the property gave me his perspective on what he would be able to achieve. He wasn't the cheapest of the bidders, but he was definitely the best choice. My recommendation is to let the professionals do the work. Tim and Julio did an excellent job. Tim has worked for Bill for over 10 years. Two days before the job was completed, my wife and I created a punch list based on a preliminary walk around. By the time I did the actual walk around with Tim and Bill 5 of the 7 items we had discovered were already completed. The other two items it would be highly doubtful would have been spotted. Rarely do I give recommendations to friends on vendors, however Bill and Bill's Painting would be the company I would recommend to family and friends. Excellent job gentleman.

Bill and his crew, Tim and Julio, are clearly very knowledgable. They were on-time and kept me informed of the progress, including answering my several questions. First, the walls were pressure washed and allowed to dry for a day. Then they applied sealer and caulked as necessary. The next day began the painting. Bill's crew is very careful with covering the plants and other areas with tarps, and do a good job with daily clean-up. On the final day, Bill walked around the house with me to make sure everything was done right. He treated our house as carefully as he would his own. Superb service!

Bill's Painting is amazing. They showed up when they were supposed to and finished the job in a timely manner. They are very professional and totally went the extra mile in getting new paint for us after the one we picked out looked different than what we were expecting. The entire outside of the house was sealed and painted, including the fascia which was peeling and in bad shape. Inside the house we had a previous leak around a large window which had ruined the sheetrock and rotted the molding around the carpet. They cut the whole area out, replaced the sheetrock and molding, puttied and painted it to match the rest of the room and it looks brand new. In fact the whole house looks brand new outside as well and we are getting great comments from the neighbors. I wholeheartedly recommend this company for any kind of painting.

We actually hired Bill's Painting seven years ago when we painted the exterior of our home and were so pleased with the entire experience that we were really excited to see the company on Angie's list when we were looking to paint our home again. Bill is extremely professional and pays attention to small and large details of the job. Bill and his crew are polite and answer any questions that come up in the painting process He is very knowledgeable about how central Florida climate and sunshine affect the exterior paint of houses and make recommendations taking these factors in to consideration when choosing paint colors. Bill and his crew take care to protect bushes and other outside objects from paint spatter and also keep the job site clean and in order. They also are very detail oriented. When Bill painted our home seven years ago we referred him to a friend and he was so pleased with the job done that they referred Bill's Painting to another neighbor. First of all this review is long overdue. I owe Bill an apology as I promised him it would get done a long time ago. Bills Painting provided an outstanding and professional service. From the initial service call for an estimate, I knew that Bill's Painting was going to be a top contender for the job. I liked how thorough he was at explaining the process, which products he used and how he would perform the job. He explained to me that he was a small company and that the job couldn't be done in 2 days. Nor did I want it to be. I could tell with his explanations that his attention to detail would be what I was looking for. He sealed the deal when I received his quote. I had received 3 quotes prior to him and thought his price was fair for the amount of work to be done. My home is 1900 sq. ft. The job took roughly 5 days. A little longer than he had planned due to weather delays. He and his coworker performed the job quietly and efficiently. My wife hardly knew they were there. The final product confirmed I made the right choice. The house looks wonderful and I can tell that the job they did is going to last for years to come. On a side note, I had decorative shutters that they were able to remove and were planning on repainting. No other painting contractor offed to remove and paint them, some actually advised against it. I was stunned. How were they planning on painting behind them? Bill and his partner applied several base coats to them but I could tell it wouldn't come out well. Bill himself said he wouldn't be happy with the job and recommended that if possible, I go out and buy new ones. These in particular where white plastic painted in black. I was able to find them in black plastic which will last much longer. These new panels had to be ordered. Bill was kind enough to come several weeks after the job had been completed and install the new shutters for me. Again, I can only praise the work they did. I was worried that I would not find a company that would pay as much attention to detail as I would but luckily I found Bill's Painting. Also, during my search, I noticed how many of the other companies would talk trash of their competitor. It was refreshing to see that Bill steered away from that sales technique but simply explained how HE did things. Again, my wife and I are both very happy with the results and are confident that Bill provided us with the best work out there. We gladly would recommend his service to anyone in need of a paint job.

My call for an estimate was returned the next day. Bill,s price was in range with other 4 contractors. The times for selecting colors and to start work were set for the following week. Bill was very professional and his assistant was always cordial and friendly. The trim work was very neat and even the pipes going to the solor heating panels were cut in nicely. Updates as work progressed were given everyday and schedules were followed. Neighbors commented on the quality of work and quickness of the finished product. I have recommended Bill's Painting to a few of them who are thinking of having work done. I could not be happier with the craftmanship of Bill's Painting.

Bill's Painting was supposed to come out this week to do the painting but I am sure they got behind with whatever they were doing, so they got delayed. He said that I should not pay him until he has walked around with me and seen the job and until everything is done to my expectation, if not, then he will try and correct what is wrong.
